Why Teach?
I teach because I am passionate about helping young people find their true potential within.
I teach because I believe children are the greatest investment we as a society can make.
I teach because I want to be that teacher:
The one who made an impact and a difference.
The one who stands out in color amongst the black and white memories.
The one who believed and made them believe as well.

I Believe:
- students learn best when they know they are safe, cared about, respected, and listened to.
- all students need and deserve a consistent, safe, predictable environment where expectations are clearly defined.
- learning cannot take place without first establishing meaningful connections and relationships with one another.
- classroom learning design should always be done with intention and purpose, should incorporate 21st century skills and learning styles, as well as addresses the needs of all learners in the room.
- students learn more through communicating with their peers, not listening to a teacher.
- learning is deepened and solidified through collaboration and critical thinking applied in creative, innovative, and meaningful ways.
- an educator should never stop being a student as well and should seek out professional development opportunities of all shapes and sizes.
